Getting started with PicOnTap

Upload a photo, describe an edit, compare versions, and download your result with PicOnTap.

PicOnTap Team

PicOnTap lets you edit an image by describing what you want to change. Start with your own photo or try one of the examples in the editor.

For common edits, a dedicated tool sets up the right options for you: remove objects and people, change the background, change the color of an object, restore old photos, or remove shadows and glare from a photo.

1. Choose your image

Upload a static PNG, JPEG or WebP image within the current input limits. The editor checks whether the image can be processed. You can also choose an example to explore a ready-made editing idea.

2. Describe one clear change

Say what should change and what should stay the same. For example:

Change the jacket to dark green. Keep the fabric texture, face, and background unchanged.

For a local edit, mark the area you want to change. For a wider change, describe the intended composition and lighting. For more examples, see writing clearer image editing prompts.

3. Review and submit

Check the selected model, available balance, and credit quote before submitting. Follow the task status in the editor and use the displayed recovery actions if a task needs attention.

4. Compare and continue

Compare the result with the original. Check edges, small details, and any area you asked to preserve. You can choose an earlier version, add another instruction, or download the result you prefer.

AI results vary. A smaller, more specific instruction can help when an edit changes more than you intended.
