How does text to video work?
Type a description of the scene and press Generate. Say who or what is in it, where it is and how the camera moves. You can also add a photo, and the clip will start from it.
Is text to video free?
One clip a day is free: 5 seconds at 480p on Seedance 1.0 Pro Fast. Other models, longer clips and sharper clips use credits. The default, Seedance 2.0 at 480p for 5 seconds, costs 40 credits.
Are my videos private?
Yes. Your videos stay in your account and are not public. You can download any clip you make. We check descriptions and finished clips, and we do not allow content that breaks our rules.
How long does it take?
It depends on the model and the length. Free clips may wait a short while before they start, longer when you are signed out; paying users start straight away. You can leave the page: the clip appears in My works when it is ready.
