Using PicOnTap

You can try AI photo editing for free, with no sign-up required. Guests can edit, compare and download within the available free allowance.

Eligibility and Use Conditions

Use the service only with material you are allowed to edit. Do not use it to violate another person's rights, distribute unlawful content or bypass access and allowance controls. Keep account credentials private and use the account and session controls if access is compromised.

Access and Service Changes

Available tools, models and allowances are described on the website. An edit may be unavailable when your allowance is exhausted, an access check fails or a processing service is unavailable. Review the current options and quote before submitting a task.

You can request account closure in account settings. Active tasks, unresolved settlements or retention holds may need to be resolved before closure can finish. Image access and cleanup are described in the Privacy Policy.

Content Standards and Acceptable Use

This section is PicOnTap's acceptable use policy for AI-generated and AI-edited content. It applies to all users, including guests and registered users, whether they use free or paid services. It covers editing instructions (prompts), uploaded images, selected areas and generated or edited outputs.

Prohibited Content Categories

You may not use PicOnTap to upload, generate, edit, create or distribute content in any of the following six categories:

  1. Sexual and NSFW content. Nudity, adult, pornographic, sexual, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content, including removing or altering clothing on a person in a photo.
  2. Violence and gore. Graphic violence, gore, mutilation or realistic depictions of serious injury or death; content that glorifies, threatens or incites violence, terrorism or violent extremism; and content that promotes self-harm.
  3. Hate speech. Content that attacks, demeans, dehumanizes or incites discrimination or violence against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or serious illness, including hateful symbols and slurs.
  4. Child-unsafe content (CSAM). Any content that sexualizes, exploits, abuses or endangers minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualized or suggestive edits of images showing minors, and content that facilitates grooming.
  5. Deepfakes and impersonation. Realistic images that falsely show a real person doing, saying or appearing in something they did not, without that person's consent; non-consensual intimate imagery; impersonation of a person, brand, organization or public authority; and forged documents, identity images or other edited images used to deceive or defraud.
  6. Copyright and trademark infringement. Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, likeness or publicity rights or other intellectual property, including removing watermarks or copyright notices from images you do not have the right to alter, and using logos or brand marks in a misleading way.

You also may not use the service for any unlawful purpose, fraud or spam, or attempt to bypass content restrictions or safety checks, for example by disguising instructions, splitting a prohibited request into parts or creating additional accounts to avoid enforcement.

Child sexual abuse material and non-consensual sexual imagery of real people, including deepfakes, are subject to zero tolerance.

Enforcement Actions

We choose an action according to the severity of the violation, whether it is repeated and the surrounding context:

  • Request rejection. A prompt or upload that fails our checks is not processed, and a result that fails our checks is not delivered. Credits reserved for a rejected task follow the credit-return process.
  • Warning. For a first, minor or apparently unintentional violation, we may notify you by email and ask you to stop.
  • Content removal. We may remove or disable access to violating uploads and results.
  • Account suspension. For serious or repeated violations, we may suspend the account. Suspension signs the account out of active sessions and blocks new edits while we review.
  • Termination. For severe violations, or continued violations after earlier action, we may permanently terminate access to the service.
  • Preservation and reporting. For suspected child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery or other serious unlawful activity, we suspend access immediately, preserve the relevant records and report to law enforcement or the competent authorities where required or permitted by law.

If you believe an action was taken in error, contact us using the details in Reporting Content and explain why. A person will review the appeal.

Reporting Content

Anyone can report content or behavior that may violate these standards, including people shown in an image and rights holders. Send your report by email to the address below with the subject "Content report".

PicOnTap Team

support@picontap.com

Include the category of the suspected violation, where you saw the content (for example, a link, task or order reference, or account email) and why you believe it violates these standards. Rights holders should also identify the protected work or mark and confirm they own or represent the rights. Do not attach or forward suspected child sexual abuse material; describe where it is located instead.

Every report is reviewed by a person on the PicOnTap team. Reports involving child safety or non-consensual intimate imagery are handled before all other reports: we respond within 24 hours and block confirmed content and accounts immediately. We reply to other reports within 3 business days. We keep the reporter's identity confidential and do not share it with the reported user unless the law requires it. Reports are assessed neutrally on the content and evidence. We record how each report is handled, and knowingly false or malicious reports may themselves lead to action under these standards.

Content Moderation

PicOnTap uses layered moderation:

  • Automated input checks. Before an edit runs, editing instructions and uploaded images are screened by a third-party automated content moderation service. Requests that fail the check are rejected before they reach the image model.
  • Automated output checks. Generated and edited results are screened before delivery. A result that fails the check is not delivered.
  • Fail-safe handling. When the moderation service cannot return a result, the edit does not proceed rather than skipping the check.
  • Usage monitoring. We review account and usage patterns, such as repeated rejected requests or coordinated accounts created to evade limits, and act on abuse.
  • Human review. The PicOnTap team reviews reports, appeals and flagged activity. Staff access to user images is limited to what a review requires and is recorded.

Automated checks cannot identify every violation. You remain responsible for the instructions you submit and for how you use the results.

Uploads and Outputs

Review the result of an AI edit before using or sharing it, especially where a change to a face, text or another detail could matter.

Uploaded Content

Upload only images you have permission to process, including any permissions needed from the people or rights holders concerned. Make sure those permissions cover sending the image and editing instructions to the services that carry out your requested edit.

PicOnTap uses the original image, your instructions and any selected area to perform the edit. Read the photo processing information for more about processing services and the handling of uploaded material.

AI-Edited Results

The way you may use a result depends on the rights in the source material, the content of the result and the terms applicable to the selected model or processing service. Paying for an edit does not, by itself, clear another person's rights in an image.

Before commercial use, check that your permissions and the applicable model terms allow your intended use. AI results are not guaranteed to be exclusive, accurate or suitable for a particular purpose. Contact us if you need information about the model used for an edit.

Usage and Payment

Visit Pricing and Usage to review the allowance and output details that apply to the service. Paid credit purchases and subscriptions provide the editing allowance described in the selected offer.

Allowances and Charges

Review the credit quote before submitting an edit. Credits may be reserved while the task runs and settled when a usable result is delivered. A technical failure that delivers no usable result follows the credit-return process; pending returns remain visible in the editor. A delivered result that does not match your preferences is a different situation, and another edit may consume credits again.

Free allowances, purchased credits and subscription allowances follow their displayed limits and validity periods. Signing in continues the same day's usage. Credits are editing units, not a cash balance.

Before paying, review the selected product, price, currency, applicable taxes, credit validity and any billing interval shown at checkout. A one-time purchase is charged once. A recurring subscription renews and is billed at the interval disclosed at checkout until canceled. Use a payment method you are authorized to use, and retain your order confirmation for billing questions.

Cancellation and Refunds

Review your subscription in billing settings. To request cancellation or help stopping renewal, contact support with your order or subscription number before the next renewal. Check the cancellation confirmation for the effective end date and any remaining access or allowance.

Cancellation and a refund of an earlier payment are separate requests. For a refund request, contact us with the order number, payment date and reason. Eligibility and the amount returned depend on the purchase conditions, the circumstances of the request and applicable law. Any confirmed refund follows the payment provider's processing times. Returning editing credits is not the same as returning money to a payment method.

Service Limits

AI edits can change details you intended to keep. Compare an edited image with the original and decide whether the result fits your purpose.

Service Quality and Responsibilities

Faces, text, fine details and damaged areas may be reconstructed rather than recovered exactly. Restoring image dimensions does not recover information that was absent from the original. Check important details before publishing, printing or relying on a result.

For a technical failure, missing result or billing concern, contact support with the task or order reference. The task's settlement status distinguishes a pending edit, a delivered result and a credit return. These explanations do not limit any rights you have under applicable law.

Contact and Updates

Use the contact page to find the available way to ask a question about these terms. Include the relevant tool, approximate time and task or order reference. Do not send passwords, payment credentials or private image links.

Version and Changes

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to sign up to try PicOnTap?

No. You can try AI photo editing for free without signing up, within the available free allowance.

Can I use an edited image commercially?

Commercial use depends on your permissions for the source material, the content of the result and the terms applicable to the selected model or processing service. A paid edit does not automatically grant unrestricted commercial rights. Review Uploads and Outputs and contact us if you need model-specific information.

Where can I read about photo handling?

Read the Privacy Policy for information about processing, storage and deletion.
