Information Involved in Using PicOnTap

You can try AI photo editing without signing up. Review the information handling details below alongside that access option.

Photos and Editing Instructions

The editor processes uploaded originals, editing instructions, optional selections and editing results so that you can make changes and continue working on an image. Your works are separate from the public demonstration images and deliberately published article images on the website.

Visit and Contact Information

Guest session identifiers, account details, verification status and credit records keep your editing allowance and works associated with the right owner. Cookies and local browser storage also retain language preferences, session state and recoverable draft information.

When configured and enabled, analytics measures public page visits, editing milestones and purchase-funnel steps (sign-up, viewing plans, starting checkout, and a completed purchase with its plan and amount) using limited page, language and channel information, including the domain of an external referring site and campaign tags in the link you followed (utm, ref or source parameters). Editing instructions, image content, filenames, private URLs and account or task identifiers must not be included in analytics payloads.

To understand which channels bring registered users, a first-party cookie kept for up to 30 days records the first campaign tags, referring-site domain and landing page we see. When you create an account, this information is saved with the account for internal reporting, and it is cleared if you close the account.

If you contact support, describe the tool, the approximate time and the issue you experienced. Do not send passwords, access tokens or private image links. Share image content only when you agree to the specific inspection.

Photo Processing

Before uploading, review which services receive your image and what each service does with it.

Providers and Purposes

When you submit an edit, the configured AI processing service receives the image and editing instructions needed for the task. The selected model determines which processing service is used. To enforce the content standards, the editing instructions, uploaded image and result are also screened by a third-party automated content moderation service.

When the selected model accepts the uploaded file, the service sends the original encoded file without stripping metadata. That file may contain EXIF or other metadata added by your camera or editing software, including location information. Remove metadata before uploading if you do not want it sent to the selected AI processing provider.

Model Training and Other Uses

Provider data retention, training use and licensing depend on the selected service. This page does not make a blanket promise that every provider uses identical terms. If your image has particular handling requirements, contact us before uploading it.

Trying the editor without an account does not, by itself, establish whether images are stored or used for model training.

Storage and Retention

PicOnTap stores uploaded originals, selections and editing results to run the editor and let you continue working. New original and result assets currently receive an expiry 365 days after creation. The asset's stored expiry is authoritative.

Expired assets become unavailable; physical cleanup runs separately. Deleting works and closing an account follow their cleanup and settlement checks, so physical removal is not necessarily immediate. Transaction, security and audit records may remain separately from images.

Access and Safeguards

Image downloads require the owning session or a narrowly scoped, expiring provider access link. Support access to private images requires the existing consent-bound access process. A support request alone does not grant unrestricted access to all your images.

Deletion and Privacy Questions

Use the contact page to find the available way to raise a question about your information.

Available Requests and Their Limits

If you have an account, you can manage works in My works, and manage sessions or request account closure in account settings. Closure can wait for active tasks, unresolved settlements or retention holds to be resolved.

For a question about a particular image, guest session or other information, contact the team. Deleting a work or closing an account does not mean that every associated record is removed immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account to try the editor?

No. You can try AI photo editing without signing up.

Are my photos stored or used to train AI?

Uploaded originals, selections and editing results are stored to run the editor and let you continue working. Storage and model training are separate questions; provider training terms depend on the selected service. See Photo Processing and Storage and Retention, or contact us before uploading if you need more information.

How can I request deletion?

Account holders can manage works and request account closure from their account. For guest images or other privacy questions, use the contact page. Review Available Requests and Their Limits for the current controls and cleanup limitations.
